I recently had a root canal treatment at the Shiraz Endodontic practice.  My dentist recommended Dr Arta Vahdaty because (i) she is on the Endodontic Specialist Register, and (ii) she has a well-deserved reputation for being one of the leading practitioners in root canal treatment.  I was not disappointed, I am now pain-free and very happy that Dr Vahdaty managed to preserve a pre-existing crown on the treated tooth.  I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Vahdaty and all of the team at Shiraz.  The whole team from reception, to Dr Vahdaty, and her assistant were welcoming, professional, kind and highly skilled, thank you.

Wow!! First expression that came to mind. Staff, environment and treatment is of highest quality. Endodontist took the time to explain my issues and the plan of treatment without being hurried. I Have a follow up treatment and is looking forward to my return . That says a lot, as I'm usually apprehensive when it comes to visiting the dentist. I highly recommend this practice.

Words can't explain the level of service they provide at this practice the staff is very friendly and helpful and they make you feel ever so welcome. I would recommend anyone to use this dental practice if you take pride in yourself then you don't of to worry they will fix you like nothing never happens.

l was referred to Shiraz by my dentist to have root canal treatment becuase my normal dentist could not perform the prodedure due to a blockage and required a specialist to help prevent me loosing the tooth. My normal dentist explained to me that this practice was excellent and that Arta was a specialist in the area of root canals. The tooth was one of my main front teeth and wanted to try to save this if at all possible. My treatment there has been excellent, Arta was very understanding and explained all the options I had. They have some really amazing equipment that is clearly a step up from normal dentists. I had the procedure carried out which has been successful and now waiting 6 months to ensure the infection has also reduced so that I can go ahead with the crown and not need to have the tooth removed and have an implant. I would highly recommend this dentist.

I was referred to Shiraz Endodontics for root canal treatment as the specialist clinician at my own practice was unavailable. It’s never a pleasant experience having to visit “the dentist” – especially one you’ve never met before … add to this the fact that you have not just one, but 2 teeth needing treatment – and the whole outlook can seem fairly bleak!!! There was no need to worry, as from the first meeting with the excellent Chris Burn, (and the lovely nurse assisting him), all my fears were laid to rest. Having explained all the options available, and the possible outcomes on my first visit, I was able to make an informed choice about the treatments offered – being guided by his professional opinion. Although it was an extremely difficult and complex procedure which Chris had to carry out, the treatment itself was totally pain free. After each appointment, he explained in great detail what had been done and a full post treatment report and radiographs were emailed through shortly afterwards. If you’re looking for an extremely kind, patient and highly skilled specialist to carry out root canal treatment, I can highly recommend you get in touch with Shiraz Endodontics … and ask for Chris!!!

I have had the pleasure of using Shiraz Endodontic Practice twice now. I was referred for a periodontal consultation due to my gum recession by my dentist. For this visit I was consulted by Hardeep and Iqra (dental nurse). They both had a professional and kind manner and were able to give me advice on how to improve my dental hygiene and recession. The team worked seamlessly together and talked through each part of the process, so I knew what to expect. I do not need treatment for my recession currently, but I am hoping with the helpful and realistic advice that this will improve my recession. If I did need treatment, I would be confident under their care for my treatment. From my assessment, I found out that I have been brushing too hard for years, which I was unaware of, so I plan to buy a toothbrush that will highlight when I am brushing too hard to avoid further recession and difficulties in the future. Thank you to both Hardeep and Iqra. I went back to Shiraz Endodontic Practice for my hygienist appointment where I met Robinder. She was so lovely and reassuring as I was worried having not been to the hygienist in years. Both Robinder and Chloe (dental nurse) put me at ease and were so gentle. They gave me sensible advice and recommended I attempted to build flossing into my nightly dental routine. They took the time to show me how I should be flossing, which again I have been doing infrequently and I have been far too hard on my gums for years. They advised I returned in a few months to keep an eye on a gum pocket and see how I am getting on. Ladies thank you so much for being so gentle and checking in on me frequently throughout my hygiene treatment. I was reassured throughout and felt safe in their experienced hands. After my positive experiences I would gladly recommend Shiraz Endodontic Practice to others for any treatments or consultations. Thank you.

Needed Root Canal treatment following my regular dentists advice. She recommended Chris Burns. Chris was brilliant, diagnosing the problem and the cause, luckily it was just me being a reckless child and not something I had done recently. After two visits, my tooth is complete and as if nothing had happened! Would 100% recommend to anyone needing dental work.

I am very pleased with the treatment that my 11 year old son received from Christopher Burn (root canal filling). He was very professional and made my son feel relaxed/calm as it was quite a daunting procedure for a child. I would highly recommend, thank you!

I went to Dr Nida Kamal as my own dentist was unable to undertake the complex re-root canal needed to save my tooth. I have accepted that the tooth was likely going to need removing as my usual dentist had given a somewhat bleak prognosis. I went to see Dr Kamal as a last ditch attempt to get her opinion as my tooth formal was already booked, I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. After my consultation I felt reassured and confident that the tooth had a chance. I underwent the treatment to re root the tooth canal, then had a new crown fitted. Without Dr Kamal I’d have lost the tooth. It’s in quite a prominent place, so would have left me feeling very self conscious. Thanks to the amazing Dr Kamal!!!

Visiting a dentist's is often an anxiety inducing event. I've not always had good experiences with dentists. Going for a root canal procedure consultation was nerve wracking. Dr Nida Kamal was reassuring, exceptionally professional in her responses to my questions and concerns. I felt reassured enough to go ahead with the most expensive procedure I have ever done to save a tooth. My root canals procedure was complicated and took many hours over several visits at the set price. I found comfort in the decision to go ahead with the procedure at Shiraz Endodontics instead of through my own dentist - who is very good - but not specialised in this field. The amount of work, care, equipment used and so much more that went into saving that one tooth had shown the value for money I had received in exchange for excellence. Thank you Dr Nida for everything you did to save my tooth and so painlessly too. And, thank you to all the support staff - nurses and receptionist - at Shiraz Endodontics. I will see you next year for my follow up.

I had an appointment with Hardeep, who was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He carried out an in depth check of my teeth and gums, taking x-rays too. He advised me on what I can do at home to improve my brushing and flossing, and went through the plan of how the following appointments will go. I refer all my patients requiring endodontics to Dr Kamal. Every patient has come back reporting a great experience and the treatment is always brilliant. I have to say if I ever needed a root canal this is where I would go!
